The actual battle graphics are decent enough although walking in battle looks a bit odd and all the characters have weird poses(Face in particular),ДЄnd for the cutscenes they just used rather bad looking characters portraits(like Fire Emblem but not as well drawn), ill try to explain what i mean by this, take a still portrait of something, add a bunch of lines to the drawing to make it look slightly messy, then make it move(like breathing and expressions), and you end up with the cutscenes in Battle Fantasia.ДЄn important fact here is that they only speak Japanese, so any thing they say while fighting is not translated. The main goal of the story is that the characters explore the world to find out what the 'scion of III presage' is, then defeat him and save the world, to really understand the story you have to play through multiple characters story, so you can understand why the characters are doing what they do, if you just play a few characters you won't really know whats going on.Д®DIT This game came out in 2007, as the comments tell me, i was wrong about the date by a few years but i still don't think that the graphics were that great. There are 12 playable characters which take about 2 tries to completly see their individual storyline. Practice- 1vs1 fight where you can practice combos and such. Online- its dead, so i cant explain anything about it right now. Vs cpu, vs player- as the name says, its a 1vs1 fight agaisnt a friend or bot. Story- you have a choice of 12 different characters stories to see.ДЄrcade- you choose your character and battle through all the enemies ending with the final boss. Their are various modes to play in this game The Mana bar charges everytime you attack or use GACHI successfully, it maxes at 3 bars and a bar is used everytime you use heat up or use an attack that is colored red in the move list. It also shows hit points under your health bar but it doesn't matter because the damage scales to fit your health.

There is also GACHI which is pretty much parrying the attack and can also be used to counterattack, to block attacks you have to move AWAY from the enemy, there is no button to block.ДЇor the actual fights you have a Health bar at the top and a Mana bar at the bottom. There is 'heat up' where you use a mana bar(shown at the bottom of the battle screen) which will let you use some moves or improve others and it required to beat the boss 'End of Deathbringer'. That being said this game is rather like Blazblue, but it has a very small movelist and has a harder difficulty.

now onto the review.ДЇirst of all, the game does NOT tell you how to play and you will have to figure it out on your own. I have been playing this game for awhile and im pretty sure i know it well enough now to review it, and to anyone who is just recently just got this game, autosave is turned off and you should go into options to turn it on if you want to save your progress.
